How to approve, edit, and delete time

This article is for users with Admin and Manager permissions.

Note: Pending Requests will appear in your Home tab as To-Do’s. You will also receive an email notification.

You can click on the task called "Approve timesheets" and you'll directly be taken to the Pending time entries waiting for approval.

Managers will see only their direct reports' time entries whereas Admins will see all apprentice's entries specifically in that apprenticeship.

How to approve time entries:

  1. Go to the Manage Portal and click on Performance Tools > Time Tracking and you will be taken to the Pending tab

  2. There, you can view each apprentice's pending time entries.

  3. Click on the checkbox to select which time entries you'd like to approve and then click on the Approve button.

  4. You can also use the Select all button to select and deselect all entries

How to edit time entries before you approve them:

  1. Click on the 3-dot menu on the right side of the entry under the Actions column

  2. Select "Edit" to update the details and make your changes

  3. Click the Save Changes button and the entry is ready for your approval

How to delete a time entry:

  1. Click on the 3-dot menu on the right side of the entry under the Actions column

  2. Select "Delete" and a popup window will display asking if you'd like to permanently delete this record

  3. Click the Remove button and the entry will be permanently deleted
