Supportive services and mentorship are proven to increase apprentice graduation rates.
These services provide aid when an apprentice faces several barriers during and after their job that are outside of their control.

At-will: Other companies choose to train apprentices as their business needs it.

Enter the maximum number of mentees any one mentor will be responsible for.
Enter 1 for all trades operating a registered apprenticeship program.

Select what tasks will be assigned
Align with the classroom and OJL plan - these tasks will be evaluated within Apprentix
This is a much simpler approach because you’ll be able to track, approve, and provide evidence all within Apprentix.
In addition to the classroom and OJL plan - these tasks must be managed outside of Apprentix
This approach will require an additional step to run reports for compliance.
Select performance measurement of mentorship tasks
If tasks are assigned outside of Apprentix, you will need to determine how those tasks are evaluated.
Registered apprenticeships will need to provide this evidence in addition to Apprentix reporting.
Select backup mentor trained
Select Yes if you have or plan to name a person to be the background.
Select No if you do not plan to have a backup.
