Troubleshooting: Login

Trouble logging into Apprentix? Learn how to reset passwords, find invite emails, fix inactive accounts, and resolve login issues.

Updated this week

If you’re having trouble logging into Apprentix, this guide will walk you through the most common issues and how to fix them.

1. Cannot Find the Invitation Email

If you never received your invite email to join Apprentix:

  1. Click Forgot Password

  2. Enter the email address your Admin used to create your account

  3. Follow the reset steps (see below)

This will create your login credentials even if you missed the original invite email.

2. Locked Out or Forgot Your Password

  1. Click Forgot Password?

  2. Enter the email you use for Apprentix

  3. Click Reset Password

  4. Don’t close the page until you see this confirmation:
“Check your email: Thanks! We have sent an email to this address with a link you can use to reset your password.”

3. Change Your Password (While Logged In)

  1. From the portal, click your Profile icon (top-right corner)

  2. Select My Account

  3. Go to Log In Credentials

  4. Click the Pencil icon to edit your password

4. Did Not Receive Reset Password Email

If you requested a reset but didn’t receive the email:

  • Wrong email address: If you entered an email not tied to your account, you won’t receive a reset email. Ask your Admin which email is linked to your Apprentix account.

  • Spam folder: Check your spam or junk folder—it may have been filtered there.

  • Company spam filter: If you don’t see it in your inbox or spam, your company’s filter likely blocked it. In this case, ask your Primary Admin or our Support Team for a temporary password.

5. “Account Inactive” Message After Logging In

If you log in but see a message saying “Account Inactive,” it means your subscription is not active.

Why This Happens

  • An invoice hasn’t been paid

  • The subscription expired and wasn’t renewed or it was paused

How to Resolve

  • Electronic payment (credit card / ACH): Accounts are reactivated automatically after payment.

  • Physical check: Accounts remain inactive until the check is received and deposited.

✅ With these steps, most login issues can be resolved quickly. If you’re still unable to access your account, please contact your Admin or reach out to our Support Team to request a temp password.
