When you join Apprentix’s registered apprenticeship program, your Admins get access to two primary sources of compliance documentation:
A shared IRA Compliance Package (Google Drive folder)
Compliance documents stored directly inside the Apprentix platform
These files help ensure you're always prepared for audits, client requests, and IRA compliance checks.
1. IRA Compliance Package (Google Drive Folder)
After your company completes Orientation, Apprentix provides a unique Google Drive folder containing the key documents required for compliance.
What’s Included:
Appendix A (per occupation): Outlines each trade’s training plan, wage schedule, and required journeyworker-to-apprentice ratios.
Appendix C – Affirmative Action Plan: Required from all participating employers.
Appendix D – Employer Agreement: Confirms your company's participation and lists the registered occupations.
Boilerplate Standards: Apprentix’s official training standards filed with the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL).
Registration Certificate: Proof that Apprentix is a DOL-registered apprenticeship sponsor.
Confirmation of Registration Letter: Verifies your company’s registration under Apprentix, including your unique ID number.
State Reciprocity Confirmation (if applicable): Included if you requested approval to operate outside Texas.
How to Access the Folder:
A link to the Google Drive folder is stored in Apprentix > Compliance > Documents > Registration tab.
The folder is shared with the person who attended your company’s Orientation call.
All Admins in the apprenticeship can see the link, but may not have viewing permissions for the folder.
Having Trouble Accessing?
If you can't open the folder, it’s likely due to one of the following:
You’re logged into Google Drive with a non-work email address.
You haven’t been granted access yet for your work email.
👉 To request access, click the "Request Access" button when prompted on the Google Drive page.
2. Documents Stored in the Apprentix Platform
Some important documents live directly inside your Apprentix account under Compliance > Documents.
Key Documents:
Signed Apprenticeship Agreements (Form 671):
If signed digitally in Apprentix → stored under Documents > Filed
If signed manually → you’ll need to save and store a copy internally
Davis-Bacon Certificates:
Located under the Documents > Davis-Bacon tab
Required for apprentices on prevailing wage (Davis-Bacon) jobs
Renewed every 90 days, as long as the apprentice is Active and your company remains compliant
3. Documents NOT Provided by Apprentix
Some compliance documentation must come from your certified payroll provider. Apprentix does not supply the following:
Weekly percentages of labor hours performed by apprentices
Ratio compliance reports
