Learn how to generate and manually sign Apprenticeship Agreements (ETA-671) in Apprentix. Step-by-step guide for wet signatures.

Updated over a week ago

Apprenticeship Agreements (ETA-671) can be completed digitally in Apprentix or manually with wet signatures.

The manual option is useful if:

  • You prefer physical signatures for recordkeeping

  • Your company requires signed paper copies

  • You selected “No” when asked if the apprentice can digitally sign during onboarding

Steps to Generate a Manual Agreement

  1. From the Manage Portal, go to People.

  2. Find the apprentice you want to generate the agreement for.

  3. Click the context menu (three dots …) next to the apprentice’s name.

  4. Select Apprenticeship Agreement.

  5. Wait a few moments while the system processes and generates the agreement.

  6. The agreement will download automatically to your computer.

👉 The downloaded file is a pre-filled agreement specific to that apprentice, ready for wet signatures.

After Downloading

  • Print the agreement

  • Have it signed by:

    • The apprentice

    • The employer representative

    • The sponsor representative

  • Store a signed copy for your records and upload it to RAPIDS if required
