Q: How much does Apprentix cost?

  • Tech Only:

    • Standard Plan (single contractor, apprentices track their own time): $3,000 per year.

    • Prime Plan (single contractor, admins can enter time on behalf of apprentices): $5,000 per year.

    • Plus Plan (multi-employer sponsor model): $10,000/year.

Q: Is pricing per apprentice or per user?
No. Pricing is flat and transparent, with unlimited users and unlimited projects.


Fractional Sponsor + Tech

Q: What does it cost?

  • Pro Plan: $13,000/year, one contractor, up to 20 active apprentices.

  • Premium Plan: $20,000/year, includes unlimited subcontractors.

Q: Do you offer expedited setup?
Yes. For a one-time $2,000 fee, contractors can be fully set up within 3 days instead of waiting for the monthly onboarding cohort. This is a one-time expedited fee and only applies to the onboarding of a new client. It does not apply to Reciprocity Requests.

Q: How much does it cost to request reciprocity?

Each state requires that each contractor request reciprocity and it costs $1,000 per state, per contractor, for Apprentix to handle reciprocity requests.

Q: Can we request additional occupations?

If your company needs to add apprenticeship occupations that are already under Apprentix's Fractional Sponsor, you can simply request to add that occupation from our support team. The process to add a new occupation is:

  1. Submit a request to Apprentix Support with the name of the occupation.

  2. Apprentix will send you a new Appendix D - Employer Agreement to sign and select the new occupation.

  3. You will need to schedule a Consult using this link to walk through the training plan and ensure it's customized for your company and the wage schedule is understood.

  4. Apprentix will work with the Dept. of Labor to add the new occupation to your program. This takes 2-3 business days.

  5. Once approved, Apprentix Support will add the occupation to the Apprentix platform, allowing to register apprentices using the newly added occupation.

If your company would like to request a new occupation that's not currently under Apprentix's program, you can submit a request to Apprentix support with the name of the occupation or the scope of work, and Apprentix will consider whether to add it or not. If Apprentix approves your request, there is a one-time $6,000 fee per occupation but this is only charged if Apprentix decides to add the occupation.

Q: How do I calculate how many Active apprentices we have and how many spots we have left?

Refer back to your agreement and any upgrade invoices to determine how many active apprentice spots you purchased.

  • Our base plans for Pro and Premium come with 20 active apprentices. If you are on the Premium plan, the 20 active apprentices includes all active apprentices under your subcontractors as well.

  • Our Enterprise plan comes with an unlimited number of active apprentices for you and all your subcontractors.

Q: Does the plan automatically renew each year?

At the expiration of the Term, this SOW will automatically renew for additional 1-year terms at our then existing rates unless (a) this SOW is terminated by the parties in accordance with the MSA, or (2) we offer you a different long-term solution pursuant to a new SOW.


Pro Plan FAQs

Q: Can I include subcontractors in the Pro Plan?
No. The Pro Plan is only for one contractor company. To cover subs, you’ll need the Premium Plan.

Q: What happens if I need more than 20 apprentices?
If you need additional apprentices, the fee schedule is as follows:

  • 1-20 apprentices: $13,000 per year

  • 21-50 apprentices: $18,000 per year

  • 51-100 apprentices: $23,000 per year

  • 100+ apprentices: inquire for custom pricing

Going from 20 to 21 apprentices is an additional $5,000 per year. Going from 50 to 51 apprentices is an additional $5,000 per year. The figures above are the total per year.


Premium Plan FAQs

Q: How many subcontractors can we add?
You pay $6k one-time to add each subcontractor under your Premium Plan. Note that if the subcontractor is performing work outside of Texas, you'll also need to pay a $1k one-time fee per contractor per state to request reciprocity.

Q: Do subcontractors have to wait until the monthly cohort to join?
No. Subcontractors can be added at any time once you are enrolled.

Q: Is pricing per apprentice or per subcontractor?
No. Pricing is by the tier of active apprentices across your company and all of your registered subcontractors.

Q: What happens if we go over 20 active apprentices between us and our subcontractors?

Pricing is a flat fee for a tier of active apprentices.

  • 1-20 apprentices: $20,000 per year

  • 21-50 apprentices: $25,000 per year

  • 51-100 apprentices: $30,000 per year

  • 100+ apprentices: inquire for custom pricing

Q: How do I calculate the number of active apprentices?

To find the total number of Active apprentices, go to People and filter by "Role = Apprentice" and "Status = Active".

  • Apprentices in the Onboarding stage are not considered Active but since they will be Active as soon as they complete the onboarding steps, you should be aware that those apprentices will add to your Active count.

  • Apprentices in a "Suspended", "Cancelled", "Onboarding", or "Completed" status do not count towards "Active" apprentices.

Q: How do I calculate the number of Active apprentices at our subcontractors?

Go into each of your subcontractors' apprenticeship and take the same steps of going to People and and filter by "Role = Apprentice" and "Status = Active".

  • Subcontractor's Active apprentices count towards your active apprentice count. For example, if a subcontractor has 1 Active apprentice and your company has 9, you have a total of 10 Active apprentices against the 20 you purchased.

Q: If a subcontractor has finished the project, does that spot open up?

If a subcontractor has finished the project, they need to continue keeping the apprentice "Active" as long as that apprentice is employed by that contractor. If the subcontractor keeps the apprentice in an Active status, then that counts towards your total.
